The Basilica of Saint-Quentin was formerly known as the Collegiate Church of Saint-Quentin. This Cathedral stands majestically in the town of Saint-Quentin, Aisne, France. The first religious building that stood on this site was in the 4th century AD. But there were multiple instances when these structures were completely damaged. Reconstruction and rebuilding just continued all the way up to 1956.
However, even after multiple damages and reconstruction, stained glass windows from the 13th century still stay put. The original stained windows that went missing were replaced by Hector de Pétigny in 1948. In 2006, there was another restoration work.
The Cathedral boasts of Art Deco or Decoratifs. This was one of the first structures to have Art Deco. The term then slowly spread to other parts of France, before moving to other parts of the world.
