How to create a masterpiece

I personally would define a masterpiece as an artwork that creates a sense of awe. Any artwork that you can is your personal masterpiece. There is a continuos growth when making art. If you have a personal feeling that your current art is better than the previous on, you are successful.

Art has no criticisms. And all criticisms are only constructive. People criticizing art know very well that they will never be able to make something of this grandeur. Real artists never crticize art. They look for beautiful inspirations which they take up for thier next artwork.

Masterpieces generally have an infusion of the entire soul of the artist. Therefore, it is personally important for the artist to understand that masterpieces are personal achievement. So do not let other people judge your masterpiece. You are your own judge, A master of your Art.

Even if it is a small artwork on a coaster, or a large mural on a wall, you have the decison to decide which is your masterpiece.

Concluding Thoughts

So if you feel that you have the ability to create a masterpiece, you have become a successful artist. Creating a masterpiece is not a normal feat. Artists put in their life long experience to make one piece that remains as a legacy they leave behind.

However, remember creating a masterpiece should not be your focus. This is just an achievement that comes in when you are working towards success. If you are stuck for long on a  artwork, which you consider your masterpiece, try to look beyond the bigger picture. Think about why you started.

There are unlimited number of options for improvement. So, do not hold yourself back and stay in a small circle. Stay tuned as I write about more of my experiences in upcoming articles.
